THE LEOPARD’S REALM
-
Leopards are among the most elusive of big cats, and even a fleeting sighting is a thrill. Yet on this day, I was lucky to witness something extraordinary: a leopard perched on a rocky outcrop, framed perfectly by the branches of a giant fig tree.
It felt like a scene from a Disney animation - magical, almost unreal. I will never know exactly what he was looking at, but I like to imagine he was surveying his kingdom beyond the rocks. The dense vegetation, towering granite formations, and his quiet gaze created a once in a lifetime image, half landscape, half wildlife, and entirely unforgettable.
Images that don’t give you all the answers invite the viewer to create their own story - and as the artwork hangs on a wall over time, that story can evolve, revealing new meaning as time goes on.
