TOGETHER

As with all artworks in the series, this image was created by layering two separate photographs captured in the exact same location, under conditions as close to identical as possible. Working exclusively with wild animals in their natural habitats was essential to me - a commitment that made this series three years in the making.
In an age where AI offers allows for shortcuts, I wanted every element to be authentic. Every image in this series was photographed for real, in the exact same locations but at different times, a process that brought both challenges and unexpected rewards.
These extraordinary people and remarkable creatures depend entirely on functioning ecosystems, and above all, on space. Living here in Kenya has made me realise how deeply their fates are intertwined. They share one land, and one life and are tied to the same fate.
